Dr. K. R. Menon is a highly experienced Paediatrician with over three decades of experience caring for children and adolescents in Dubai. He provides comprehensive, compassionate care for infants, children, and teenagers up to 16 years of age, addressing everything from routine childhood illnesses to complex medical conditions. Known for his reassuring and family-centred approach, Dr. Menon supports new parents with expert guidance on vaccinations, growth monitoring, and developmental milestones. His clinical interests include childhood allergies and paediatric nutrition, and he has extensive experience in managing respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nutritional disorders. He also treats allergic conditions such as eczema, asthma, and allergic rhinitis, and is well-versed in the management of juvenile diabetes and the diagnosis of rare paediatric disorders.
He completed his MD in Paediatrics from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, India, and worked at the prestigious PGIMER (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research), Chandigarh, India before establishing his practice in the Middle East. Dr. Menon holds a postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Nutrition from Boston University, USA, reflecting his strong commitment to preventive care and optimal child development. In addition to his clinical expertise, he has served in senior leadership roles, including Medical Director at Panacea Medical & Wellness Centre and Deputy Director at Emirates Diagnostic Clinic (now Mediclinic) and Unicare Medical Centre, where he played a key role in maintaining high standards of care and promoting continuous medical education. Beyond the clinic, Dr. Menon has been actively involved in school health programmes and has worked closely with nurseries across Dubai, providing health assessments and guidance to support children’s wellbeing from an early age.
