Panacea Medical & Wellness Centre offers its female adult patrons a package aimed at checking health parameters important for a woman’s health and detecting health risks if any.

 This includes a health check-up that includes physical examination, screening tests and lab investigations followed by analysis of the results and advice to the patron as indicated.

It is advisable to get a regular check up done with your doctor to check for potential illnesses to stay in the pink of health. This package is generally used by health savvy ladies to update their health status once a year. You are required to come fasting and can expect to spend an hour for completion of this health check.

The essentials of the package are include consultation with the Specialist Gynaecology & Obstetrics, abdominal ultrasound, breast and pelvic examination, lab tests such as the complete blood count, lipid profile (cholesterol, HDL, LDL & triglyceride levels), fasting blood glucose, urine analysis, uric acid, liver function tests (SGOT, SGPT, alkaline phosphatase, GGT, serum albumin), kidney function test (creatinine), PAP smear test, and TSH (Thyroid stimulating hormone) test.

The ECG (electrocardiogram) and basic eye exam are also done. These are followed by a follow up consultation to interpret the results and lifestyle, nutritional advice is given along with the prescription for any conditions that may require medication.  The cost of the above package is AED 995.
