Fathimath Nafiya Payapura has more than three years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and has worked in Aster Hospital and Carewell Hospital and Research Centre in India and the Indian International School in UAE.

 

She provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adults who have difficulties with communication disorders.

 

Her clinical experience includes providing therapy to young children who have developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, learning disability, dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, hearing impairment, articulation and phonological disorders and language delay.

 

She has also worked with adults patients who have speech difficulties like stuttering.

 

She regularly updates her skills and knowledge and has attended several workshops in the last few years on Autism Spectrum Disorder, Early Intervention of Young Children, Hannen Approach and Behavioural Management in younger children.

 

Nafiya’s areas of special interest are autism spectrum disorder and stammering.

 

She speals English, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil.
